Your pool water should not only be clear it should be balanced!

To extend the life of your pool liner it is important to keep your pool water balanced within the recommended limits. Proper balance would keep the following levels (a) free chlorine 1.5-2.5 ppm (b) pH 7.2-7.6 (c) total alkalinity 80-100 ppm and (d) calcium hardness >200 ppm. Each of these components of the water has a different effect on you pool liner. Keep it balanced to keep it longer!
